Why do I make art?

I have always made art; it is a fundamental part of who I am. I arrived this way.

It’s easiest to quote myself from an interview I gave in 2018. It still rings true and clear:

“Art allows us to ask questions about human experience in all its variety. It gives us a vehicle with which to celebrate, explore and invent. Art is a conversation we are having with each other, with our past and with our future possibilities".”
